Volunteers Wanted for Charity Firewalk
Shopmobility Basingstoke has teamed up with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance to hold Basingstoke’s first ever official Firewalk to raise funds to support two Hampshire charities.
Not for the feint hearted agreed, but what a fantastic challenge and no crazier than jumping from a 200 foot high crane attached to a piece of elastic or jumping out of a perfectly serviceable aeroplane with only a flimsy parachute to save you!
The Firewalk is being held on Friday 8th October by kind permission of Basingstoke Rugby Club.

Shopmobility Basingstoke Wins National Customer Service Award
Shopmobility Basingstoke has proven to be a leader in customer service after wining a national customer service award.
The National Federation of Shopmobility UK (NFS UK) was pleased to announce at its 2010 conference that the 2010 ‘Tom Hillier Award’ for outstanding customer service was awarded to Basingstoke Shopmobility.
Balloons Over Basingstoke
Balloons Over Basingstoke takes place at the War Memorial Park every year.
Shopmobility Basingstoke are there to help provide better access for all to the site and show.

Shopmobility Awareness Day
We were delighted to hold a Shopmobility Awareness Day in The Malls Shopping Centre, Basingstoke, as part of the national awareness campaign, where we handed out information and gave advice on safe driving to scooter users, both private owners and shopmobility customers.

We had a great time at the Christmas Charity Fayre in The Malls, Basingstoke. Many customers old and new popped in for a chat and out Father Christmas was a great hit with the young and old alike.

10th Anniversary Celebration
We at Shopmobility Basingstoke celebrated our 10th Anniversary in style with a special tea party for our supporters and volunteers.
In addition to our trustees and volunteers, the Federation of Shopmobility was represented and the Mayor of Basingstoke was an honoured guest.
The Trundle
Once a year we arrange a trundle for all our customers to help give them experience of using a scooter or power chair and to let them explore areas of the town they may not have known existed.
We have regular Trundles, why not come along and give it a try. It's a great way to spend a couple of hours and you will get to meet and make many new friends.
