Where are we?
The Shopmobility unit is based at the lower end of Church Street and has free parking for customers, subject to availability, and is a pick up and set-down point for Dial-a-Ride. We can also meet you at the bus or train station with a scooter by prior arrangement.
Finding us on the map
We are located in Lower Church Street near the centre of Basingstoke and very easy to find, just follow the signs by road or call us if you are using public transport and we may be able to meet you. Church Street is in two parts so please make sure you enter Church Street from Churchill Way to avoid confusion.
Arriving by Car?
Just get on the ring road and follow the signs to Shopmobility. Once you drive under Festival Place on Churchill Way (heading West) you will see the turning into Church Street. Drive to the end of Church Street and you will see us on the left.
Travelling by Bus?
Basingstoke Bus Station is in Festival Place. Simply alight from the bus and enter Festival Place by the double set of doors in the Bus Station and walk straight ahead passing British Home Stores and Next. Continue through the exit on to Church Street and turn left and you will find Shopmobility Basingstoke 100 yards up on the left. We can also meet you at the bus station with a scooter/wheelchair by prior arrangement.
Letting the Train take the Strain?
Exit the railway station by the main doors, cross the road and walk straight ahead passing Sainsbury's, Woolworth's and New Look and enter Festival Place. After entering Festival Place, turn right down Clifton Walk and exit on to Church Street, turn left and you will see Shopmobility Basingstoke 100 yards up on the left. We can also meet you at the train station with a scooter/wheelchair by prior arrangement.
Dial a Ride and Taxis
Both Dial a Ride and Taxis will drop you at our door. Dial a Ride can be contacted on 01256 462101 and all the taxi companies know us.
