Welcome to Shopmobility Basingstoke.
Shopmobility Basingstoke provides fantastic facilities for those with mobility challenges and has a wide range of mobility scooters and wheelchairs for all abilities.
Our friendly and helpful team of staff and volunteers will help you choose exactly the right equipment to suit your needs and abilities and provide you with tuition on using it safely and confidently. Registration is quick and easy and equipment may then be hired for a small fee, either for the day or for extended periods for holidays or weekends away.
Where Are We?
We are located in Lower Church Street near the centre of Basingstoke and very easy to find, just follow the signs by road or call us if you are using public transport and we may be able to meet you with a scooter/wheelchair.
Making a Booking
It's best to give us a call to make a booking or just drop in and we will do our best to match your needs. We have a wide range, but we do get busy and some makes are very popular.
Shopping at Festival Place
Situated in the heart of Basingstoke, Festival Place is Hampshire's regional shopping destination. With over 165 shops to choose from, 30 restaurants, bars and cafes to sample, a 10 screen cinema and premium night club, as well as state-of-the-art sports centre and library.

Shopmobility Basingstoke Wins National Customer Service Award
Shopmobility Basingstoke has proven to be a leader in customer service after wining a national customer service award.
The National Federation of Shopmobility UK (NFS UK) was pleased to announce at its 2010 conference that the 2010 ‘Tom Hillier Award’ for outstanding customer service was awarded to Basingstoke Shopmobility.
Shopmobility Winter Survey 2011
We are trying to build up a better picture of our customers. For example: equipment needs, possible impact of the new travel vouchers. We can then make a more accurate representation at planning/funding meetings both internally and with the local authorities.

Shopmobility 100 Club

The Shopmobility 100 Club is a monthly draw with a 1st prize of £50, 2nd prize £30 and 3rd prize £20. Entry into the draw is just £2 per month.
Payment must be in advance of the draw for either 6 or 12 months. If you want to join part way through then you will only pay for the part that is left. Please speak to Anne or Lin for a registration form and more details.
This is an easy way for you to help us raise funds and in return you might be the one getting the ‘phone call telling you that you have won £50!
