We will discuss your requirements and work out which vehicle would best suit your needs. Don’t worry if you have not used the equipment before. We will show you how to use it and make sure you are happy before you leave the centre.

Registration and Hire Costs

Shopmobility is part funded by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, although we do need to make a small charge to help to cover costs.

• Registration £8.00 for 12 months – this entitles you to use not only our facilities but all of those in the Wessex Group – check out our dedicated page for more details
• Hire Fee £6.00 per day or part thereof (Travel Scooters £7.00 per 24hr/day) Walking Frames £3.00 per day.
• If you would rather not register you can use the Casual User option charged at £10.00 per day

Payment

Hire Fees can be paid by Cash, Card or Cheque. Long Term Hire Refundable Deposits are with cheque or cash only.

Holiday Rental

As well as hiring out equipment for access around the town, we offer long term hire for holidays, days out or use at home. This includes lightweight wheelchairs and scooters ideally suited for lifting and packing in vehicles. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and prices.
