ALRESFORD COUNTRY SHOW 2025
Saturday 6th September
We will be at The Alresford Show again this year, and looking forward to some fine weather when viewing the various activities taking place in the Showground.
Due to the limited number of Scooters we are able to bring with us it is advisable to pre-book. This can be done from the 1st March by calling our Centre on 01256 476 066.
We will be bringing a range of Scooters, by pre-booking you can be assured of a suitable vehicle to meet with your needs.

The Shopmo ‘On-Tour’ Team
We are pleased to announce we have secured two weeks use of The Rotations Shop in Whitchurch. This being Friday 17th to the Thursday 30th October
At our 2024 visit we raised the fabulous sum of £1,650 for our Charity, which will be put to good use, and we thank you for your support. This year we will be bringing along a selection of our mobility aid equipment
We look forward to your visit, and support given to our Charity in October
Our Christmas Wrapping event in The Malls, was a great success – albeit a very cold one for our volunteer wrappers. We would like to thank all those who came to our Stall with their Gifts. Over £800 was raised, much needed funds going in to running our Charity. Thank you once again.
We hope to be there again on the build up to Christmas 2025, and look forward to wrapping your gifts!

Special rates are available for hires of a longer period
We are pleased to advise we are able to accept Card Payments for all hires. However the £100.00 Deposit on hires where the vehicle is taken away overnight or away ‘for the day’ can be held on a Card payment, and refunded upon return of the hire in good condition.
Travel Scooters – suitable for putting in the boot of the Car, on a Coach, or on the Train and going out for the day are very popular. During the Summer Season they do get booked up early so to avoid disappointment please enquire as soon as you know any dates. These small robust scooters are also suitable for taking on Cruises, and some flights within Europe, so maybe a wonderful holiday somewhere can be made easier with our Travel Scooters – just ask for more details.
Any Scooter taken away from the Centre (i.e. in the boot of a Car) will require a £100.00 refundable deposit.

As always we do have a limited number available, so better to pre-book to be assured of a suitable Scooter to meet with your needs. Pre-booking can be made by calling our Basingstoke Centre on 01256 476 066 during normal office hours. Lets hope the weather is better than 2024 which proved difficult conditions for our scooter on the Showground.
Well we were there, and we must thank Basingstoke Rotary Club for inviting, and supporting us again in being there.

Collection point is likely to be in Crossborough Hill – but look out for signposting on the day.

Unfortunately we have not been able to have our Trundles for a while now, However we hope to have a few during the Summer Months.
We had four outings.
We will be calling to ‘Milestones Museum’ for Tea/Coffee and Cake after a run through the older parts of Brookvale to view some not often seen parts of the Town (Weather permitting of course)
We will be going on ‘Parks & Gardens’ Tour around Town before returning back to Shopmo’ for Tea/Coffee and Cake.
Many people think all our customers do in town is shop. They forget there are an abundance of other reasons for coming into town e.g. bank, dentist, doctor, optical, legal services, meeting a friend, gym, cinema.
Plus, customers of Shopmobility Basingstoke get the opportunity to go on a ‘Trundle’. This is an organised trip from the office, lead by staff/volunteers which takes the customer outside of the shopping area and off to places they wouldn’t normally get to and sometimes don’t even know exist.
With weather permitting we will be organising up to 4 Trundles during 2025 – watch this space!
